It is with a heavy heart that we depart Gettysburg, PA this morning. Such a great visit, we mountain biked 6 out 12 days. We climbed approximately 7200 feet over 55 miles of rugged mountain bike trails. Michaux State Forest did not disappoint, and neither did our friends. Marji received a surprise birthday party, and we had a bunch of great meals with all our old friends. As we continue our lives as nomads, Gettysburg will be a regular stop on the tour.

Last night we were treated with a golf cart parade at the RV park. This is as bizarre and wonderfully fun as it sounds. There were happy dogs, flashing lights, and of course the requisite adult beverages.

Tonight we find ourselves in a weird little RV park in Florida, NY. I think it is owned by a consortium of gentlemen in brown socks. A great way to legitimize money if you were inclined to do so. Plus, if you had a friend who needed to get out of the city for a while this might be a great place to kick back and read a book.

The drive was pretty easy today, although Pennsylvania roads suck. I'm surprised our new beer glasses from Bucky at the bike shop survived the day. However, luckily they are holding our beer just fine this afternoon.

Tomorrow we head to New Hampshire. We are suppose to land at the Northwood Brewing Company. They are a Harvest Host, and we plan to enjoy both their craft beer and wood fired pizza. They are dog friendly, so Elby will be able to hang with us. Then Monday, we make the 8 mile drive to drop Mama off at the Spa. We've decided to name the 5th wheel "Mama", because she takes such great care of us. We need to drop her off at the dealer for some love and repairs before we continue the last leg of the trip back to Oceanview Camping At Reach Knolls.
