So, the allergies that I thought were getting bad in Santa Fe turned out to be a head cold. I'm negative for Covid-19, but I still feel pretty crappy. We drove from Santa Rosa, NM to just east of Elk City, OK. No sign of Blake and Gwen. We're here until tomorrow morning, so I remain hopeful. The goal was to make it a day's drive from Belle Vista, AR and then hunker down for the high winds. Mission successful. The winds are blowing 30mph with gusts of 50 mph or higher. I'm am super glad to be where we are, and not on the road.

It's nice to have a down day. I slept 12 hours last night, and am feeling much better. They are still predicting winds tomorrow, but 15 - 20 and they've dropped the warnings. So, we're going to make a run for Belle Vista. We'll pack up tonight, so we can get on the road around sun up. The winds in the morning are usually much lighter out here.
