Sunday's drive from Holbrook, AZ to Santa Fe, NM was hands down my favorite day of this trip so far. Watching I-40 terraform the edge of the Sonoran Desert into the volcanic landscape of Western New Mexico was absolutely breath taking. Coupling that with arriving in one of our favorite places on earth (Santa Fe), what a spectacular day.

Today is Monday, and we made our way out to La Tierra, one of the many spectacular trail networks here that allow mountain biking. We have increased our elevation by about 5000 feet, so we were both sucking some serious wind.

We plan on staying here for 2 weeks, and eating as much Red and Green Chili as possible. This town is very photogenic, so we will try to post some photos as we take them.

The Santa Fe Skies RV Park is on top of a hill overlooking both the Mesa and Santa Fe. The views are just beautiful. We will definitely be putting this place on the list of repeat visits.
