Marji: It's a rainy day in the Shenandoah Valley and they need rain desperately. We are wrapping up our first work week and will be packing up to roll on down the road in the morning. The KOA in Harrisonburg, VA is lovely. I like KOA's. Just so I'm clear, We are NOT camping! Camping to me requires a "pup tent" and one of those Coleman dohicky stoves and grenade like propane tanks. I have always wanted to line those tanks up and shoot them with a BB gun to see if they blow up. ANYWAY, wicked nice KOA with a really nice laundry room. Chores are done. We've met some nice folks and most of them are heading south like us. We have seen some really BIG RIGS! Like who are the rock stars big coaches? Did you know when they tow a car behind them, that is called a dingy? Which made me think, boats have names. Why don't RV's? If I told you all I was living on a 33 ft sail boat you would think that is soooo romantic (I'd be green and puking) but oddly some look at these things and think, "OMG you live in a trailer?" Yes I do and it needs a name!

I'll add some pics to the album. New Market, VA is a humble little town that saw some serious action during the Civil War. Some of Abe Lincoln's cousins lived here and some other heavy hitters of those times hung out here. There is an awesome Latino community and we stumbled upon a food truck that we went back for seconds! Three generations were cooking. So good.
